As part of TIME's 20th anniversary celebration series, the summer of 2018 marked a special journey beyond daily work. Prior to the official anniversary celebration on August 18, TIME organized a 10-day European trip for its employees, visiting Italy, France, Switzerland, and Vatican City.
From historic city streets to alpine landscapes, the journey offered moments of exploration, relaxation, and shared experience. Colleagues who usually worked side by side in the office discovered new perspectives together, standing beneath iconic landmarks, walking through museums and towns, and celebrating small moments along the way.
More than a trip, this journey reflected TIME's belief that growth is built not only through work, but also through shared memories and mutual understanding. It was a meaningful pause before the anniversary celebration, one that allowed the team to connect beyond roles and titles.
Looking back, the 2018 European journey remains a warm and lasting chapter in TIME's 20-year story, created together, remembered together.
